RITTMAN, Ohio — There’s been a handful of black bear sightings this year, and there’s been another at a nature preserve in Rittman, Ohio, which is southwest of Akron.
The William J. Robertson Nature Preserve posted on social media Wednesday, stating it had a confirmed sighting of a black bear at the Route 57 entrance to the reserve.
“At this time, we encourage all visitors to use extra caution while enjoying the preserve. Black bears are generally shy and prefer to avoid people, but they are still wild animals and should be given plenty of space,” the preserve wrote…
