ASHEBORO, N.C. — NASCAR Hall of Famer and former NASCAR Cup Series champion Bobby Labonte will return to the SMART Modified Tour on Saturday night, driving for Sadler-Stanley Racing in the Revolutionary 99 at Caraway Speedway.
Labonte will pilot the Pace-O-Matic No. 16VA Modified in what will be his first start of the SMART Modified Tour season. The veteran driver, however, is no stranger to the series or the team, having previously found success in the Modified ranks and with Sadler-Stanley Racing.
Labonte, 60, is a multiple-time winner on the SMART Modified Tour and captured the victory in last year’s Revolutionary 99 at Caraway Speedway. That win came during a chaotic race in 2024, further cementing his reputation as a steady and experienced competitor in Modified competition…
