FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — A driver had a frightening encounter in Fort Pierce after becoming caught in the crossfire during an exchange of gunfire Tuesday evening.
According to the Fort Pierce Police Department, officers responded to the Sable Chase apartment complex around 6:47 p.m. Tuesday after receiving reports of a shooting. Investigators determined there was an exchange of gunfire between multiple individuals near Brooks Street.
