PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Crews responded to a house fire on Yale Avenue in Providence on Wednesday afternoon, according to Fire Chief Derek Silva.
In a social media post around 2 p.m., Silva said the second-floor fire had been extinguished and crews remained on scene conducting overhaul operations.
Everyone inside evacuated safely before firefighters arrived.
