LAFAYETTE PARISH, La. (NEWS 15) — A Mississippi man was arrested after cocaine, crystal meth, and marijuana were discovered during a traffic stop on I-10, according to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Keith Williams, 48, of Canton, Miss., is charged with possession with intent to distribute Schedule II controlled dangerous substances (two counts), possession of Schedule I controlled dangerous substances, illegal use of controlled dangerous substances in the presence of a person under 17 years of age, contributing to the delinquency of juveniles, transactions involving proceeds from controlled dangerous substances activity, left passing lane, following too closely, cracked front windshield in driver’s view. His bond is set at $1,077,500.
Authorities reported deputies pulled over the vehicle for traffic violations on I-10 on Tuesday, June 30, just before 6:30 p.m., and a consensual search led to the seizure of about 12.51 pounds of cocaine, 78 grams of crystal methamphetamine, and 24 grams of marijuana…
