SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – When David and Ingunn Jennings moved to central South Dakota from Norway a couple of years ago, they came looking to be closer to family, with a new job waiting and a new chapter ahead.
What they didn’t expect was eight children who needed them.
A Family Decision
David had spent nearly a decade researching foster care and house parenting before the Jennings family ever made the move to South Dakota. When they arrived, a Facebook search led them to Connections by Our Home, Inc., a therapeutic foster care program that employs foster parents and provides ongoing case management support.
