The dangerous heat wave isn’t letting up anytime soon.
Today and Friday will be the hottest days, with actual temperatures climbing into the upper 90s and low 100s.
Daily highs reached 99 in Boston and Providence — a record for both cities on July 2. Bradley Airport near Hartford, Connecticut, reached 98 degrees, while Worcester hit 91.
When you factor in the humidity, it’ll feel more like 105 to 115 degrees in many communities. Remember, the feels like temperature, or heat index, is a measure of heat stress on the body.
