GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Mike Johnson was in Grand Rapids this week to tour the Life EMS Ambulance campus.
The ambulance service posted photos on social media of his tour and conversations with officials, which Life EMS said focused on challenges among emergency medical services providers, like funding and support.
Life EMS thanked the speaker for his time and support.
“His willingness to engage on these vital issues and advocate for solutions demonstrates a strong commitment to both EMS professionals and the communities they serve,” Life EMS wrote in the social media post. “We look forward to continued collaboration to advance these and other legislative priorities at all levels of government that are critical to ensuring emergency access to high quality emergency care.”…
