Costco is one step closer to bringing its first Treasure Coast warehouse to Port St. Lucie following the city’s approval of a land sale for a proposed retail store and gas station in Southern Grove. Real Estate developer, Kolter Homes posted the news on its website. Construction and opening dates have not yet been announced, the proposed store has generated excitement among Treasure Coast residents, many of whom have long traveled to Palm Beach County for the nearest Costco.
The planned 170,000-square-foot warehouse will be built on about 22 acres east of Southwest Village Parkway and south of Southwest Marshall Parkway.
