ADDIS, La. (WAFB) – A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a 7-year-old girl in Addis, according to the Addis Police Department.
Police said Breyonne D. Dorsey, 30, of Addis, was taken into custody after an arrest warrant was issued Friday, July 3, in the ongoing investigation into the death of Paris Williams.
Dorsey was booked on the following charges:
- Two counts of felony domestic abuse battery with child endangerment
- One count of principal to second-degree murder
- One count of obstruction of justice
The case stems from an incident that happened on or about Wednesday, July 1, police said.
Officers were previously called to the My Hand Trailer Park on Sixth Street around 9:47 p.m. Wednesday after receiving a report that Paris was unresponsive. CPR was already in progress when officers arrived, and she was later pronounced dead at Children’s Hospital in Baton Rouge…
