PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) —With wildfire danger and holiday celebrations ramping up, Happy Valley is offering a no-questions-asked fireworks amnesty program through Friday while warning that illegal fireworks users face a $1,000 fine.
Participants can drop off their fireworks between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Happy Valley Community Policing Center.
