KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — Police in Kalamazoo say a man has been arrested and is facing charges in three separate knife attacks, which sent a total of five people to the hospital.
Darius Dagonne Williams was taken into custody Monday in Berrien County, the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety announced. In all, he is charged with five counts of assault with intent to murder and three counts of assault with intent to rob, according to KDPS.
The first assault happened around 4:30 a.m. March 28 on S. Westnedge Avenue near Axtell Street. Police said the suspect — Williams — attacked a 41-year-old man with a machete after an argument. The 41-year-old man was treated at the hospital for his injuries…
