LAFAYETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — A Lafayette family is cleaning up and assessing damage after a large tree fell on their home during recent severe storms in Acadiana.
The tree came down on Amber Street, located on the north side of Lafayette, caving in part of a bedroom ceiling and leaving cracks throughout the house. Large tree branches also punctured the roof above his son’s bedroom.
