DENVER (KDVR) — A minibike rider died from his injuries a week after getting into a head-on crash with an SUV in Aurora last Monday, June 29, according to a press release from the Aurora Police Department.
Around 6:45 p.m. on Monday, June 29, police responded to reports of a vehicle and minibike crash at the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and Powhatan Road.

Investigators determined that a Subaru SUV was traveling east on Colfax Avenue when the minibike rider, traveling westbound, veered into the eastbound lanes, resulting in a head-on crash with the Subaru.
