RIO RANCHO — No one was injured during an apartment fire July 6 that Rio Rancho Fire and Rescue has since put out.
According to an RRFR spokesperson, a fire at the Country Club Apartments at about 5:20 p.m. appeared to have started in bushes in front of the building and the flames spread to the apartments.
“Engine 10 arrived on scene and established command of an exterior fire that was threatening a nearby apartment building. As a precaution, all occupants of the building were evacuated while crews worked to contain the fire,” an RRFR social media post reads…
