BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Hamburg man received the maximum sentence of 25 years to life in prison for raping a woman in August 2022, the Erie County District Attorney’s Office said Wednesday.
Scott Saracina, 66, forcibly engaged in sexual intercourse with the victim in a Hamburg apartment around 1 a.m. on Aug. 24, 2022, officials said. Saracina knew the victim, officials said.
A jury found Saracina guilty in June 2025. He was previously acquitted of kidnapping and unlawful imprisonment charges in September 2024 in connection to the incident…
