FAIRLAWN, Ohio — Social media has captured the attention of a local police department, and it said it will have zero tolerance for a trend called “teen takeovers.”
The Fairlawn Police Department said there’s been rumblings going around of takeover events possibly happening in the Fairlawn area.
“Residents and visitors should know that any individuals or groups involved in organizing, promoting, or encouraging unsanctioned gatherings that result in criminal activity, property damage, public disruption, or additional public safety costs will be identified through investigation and held accountable for their actions,” the police department stated…
