IOWA CITY, Iowa (IOWA’S NEWS NOW) — The two suspects charged with attempted murder after April’s mass shooting in the Iowa City Ped Mall have court appearances scheduled this week.
Damarian Jones and Ka’Mari Dozier have a case management conference at 2:30 p.m. Friday ahead of their trial dates in August. Both were arrested in May on their charges stemming from the April 19 shooting that sent five people to the hospital.
Jones is also scheduled for a hearing at 1:30 to debate whether or not his case should be moved to juvenile court. He was 17 at the time of the shooting, but turned 18 earlier this month…
