Man avoids prison after Buffalo Springs crash, sentenced to six years probation

LUBBOCK, Texas — Dominic Pequeno has pled guilty to one count of Failure to Stop and Render Aid Resulting in Death after being accused of leaving a identified as Elizabeth Peters Teichroeb dying on the ground after a crash at the Buffalo Springs Lake trails in 2021.

According to court documents obtained by EverythingLubbock.com, Pequeno faced ten years in TDCJ, however, the sentence was suspended down to six years of probation. Pequeno must spend two days in jail on the victim’s birthday during the time of his probation.
