ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A New Mexico father whose 4-month-old was born drug-exposed and died in his care took a plea deal Thursday, pleading no contest to reckless abuse of a child resulting in death.
According to a post by Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman, an investigation revealed Gonzales and the child’s mother, Gabriella Muniz, went to sleep in the same bed as the child after using narcotics.
