RYAN, Iowa (KCRG) – More than 400 people filled the seats for the last service at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Ryan on Sunday, a number that exceeds the entire town’s population.
Parishioners are not accepting the Archdiocese of Dubuque’s pastoral plan, which ends weekend services at the church. The group is pushing back by filing an appeal.
