WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Multiple lanes on Interstate 295 were blocked on Monday morning after a woman was run over by an SUV, police said.
D.C. police told DC News Now that officers responded to the crash minutes before 3:30 a.m. on July 13. Once at the scene, police found a pedestrian in the southbound lanes of I-295 at Pennsylvania Avenue.
She was pronounced dead at the scene by medics. Her name has not yet been released…
