Man seriously hurt in Central District gunfire that also hit nearby home

SEATTLE — Seattle police are looking for a suspect after gunshots fired in the Central District Sunday night seriously hurt a man.

Shortly after 7 p.m., officers were dispatched to reports of gunfire near 23rd Avenue South and South Dearborn Street, but though police found signs of a shooting, there were no victims at the scene.

A short time later, a 22-year-old man arrived at Harborview Medical Center with a gunshot wound to his leg. He remains at the hospital in serious condition…
