GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) – A train has struck a tractor trailer at the railroad crossing on Katherine Street Monday, splitting the truck in half and scattering its cargo across the scene.
Grovetown Police, EMS, and Fire Rescue are on scene. Katherine Street is closed after the Wrightsboro Road and Horizon South Parkway intersection.
Drivers are asked to use caution in the area and seek an alternate route.
