POLK COUNTY, Fla. – A Bartow woman is back in custody after a routine traffic stop on Sunday led local deputies to discover she was wanted on a felony warrant out of Texas.
Polk County Sheriff’s Office deputies pulled over a red Chevrolet Cruze traveling eastbound on 11th Street East on Sunday. According to deputies, the initial stop was made for a minor traffic infraction.
During the interaction, deputies identified a passenger in the vehicle as 56-year-old Stacy Renee Barker. A records check revealed that Barker had an active Texas warrant with full extradition nationwide.
