Gun trainers prepare for bill lowering Kentucky’s concealed carry age to go into effect July 15th

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – This Wednesday will mark the day several state laws passed this session will go into effect. Among them is one impacting the age people can carry a gun.

People 18 to 20 can already openly carry in Kentucky, they just haven’t been able to concealed carry. But, that all will change when HB 312 goes into effect, lowering the concealed carry age from 21 to 18.
