Arkansas school leaders see presentation about drones that could defend against school shootings

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A company hoping to defend against school shootings, Campus Guardian Angel, presented their drones to hundreds of school resource officers and officials today at the 22nd annual Arkansas Safe Schools Conference.

We’ve previously told you about the company and their efforts to build non-lethal drones that could be on the frontlines of school shooting threats.

CEO & Co-Founder Justin Marston shared with us that since the last time we chatted with them, they’ve officially launched in three Florida schools and they hope to expand to 12 schools spanning Florida, Colorado and Texas within 4-8 weeks.

They’re hoping Arkansas will join that list soon. They previously visited the state last year and met with Conway Public School District’s Director of Public Safety, Eric King, who helped them come to this year’s conference…
