A dump truck driver struck and killed a man while he was crossing a street in East Oakland on Tuesday evening, police said.
The collision occurred while the dump truck’s driver was turning onto Coliseum Way as the pedestrian crossed the road at High Street, the Oakland Police Department said Wednesday.
