BINGHAM TWP, Mich. (News 10) – The development company behind a proposed solar farm in Bingham Township has withdrawn its application for the project, but says it intends to resubmit.

In a statement, developer RWE described the withdrawal as “a procedural step” following a Court of Appeals ruling that changed the local outreach requirements for the project. A company spokesperson said RWE “intends to conduct that additional outreach and resubmit its application in the near future.”
