Rochester, N.Y. — Monroe County leaders are asking residents to weigh in on a potential nonstop flight from Rochester to Puerto Rico.
The county launched a public survey aimed at showing airlines there is enough demand for direct service between Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport and San Juan’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport.
County Executive Adam Bello said Monroe County has the largest Puerto Rican community in New York state outside of New York City, and Puerto Rico is already the top Caribbean destination for local travelers…
