Aurora man sentenced to 10 years for nine burglaries, related charges

AURORA, Mo. (KY3) -A Lawrence County man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to a series of burglaries and related crimes targeting businesses in and around Aurora.

Chad Vierrether pleaded guilty to multiple charges stemming from nine break-ins that occurred late last year and earlier this year. The Aurora Police Department said the victims suffered significant financial losses across the cases.

Vierrether’s charges included multiple counts of second-degree burglary, stealing, property damage, possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of burglary tools, and fraudulent use of a credit or debit device…
