Air quality impacts in Spokane due to North Idaho fire

SPOKANE, Wash. — A northerly breeze overnight brought down wildfire smoke from the Turner Hill Fire in Boundary County into parts of Bonner County, Kootenai County, and Spokane County.

Local air quality monitoring sites reported air quality reaching Unhealthy levels in all three counties on Thursday morning. Cities with unhealthy morning air quality included Liberty Lake, Post Falls, and Sandpoint.
