A 29-year-old Malden woman died after a crash involving a motorcycle in Gorham, New Hampshire, on July 2. According to Gorham Police reports, Michaela Svetlana Waldrop, of Malden, was traveling as a passenger on a motorcycle operated by Ryan C. Tidwell, 29, of Berlin, N.H., when the crash occurred on North Main Street (Route 16) in Gorham. The crash took place at about 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, just two days before the 250th on July 4.
Police said the vehicle was traveling with a second motorcycle at the time, though no further details of the incident were immediately available, as the crash remains under investigation by the Gorham Police Department and the New Hampshire State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit. It was identified as a single-vehicle crash. Police said the pair involved in the incident were aboard a 2011 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
