NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for two men wanted in connection with an armed carjacking outside a Brooklyn business last month.
According to the NYPD, the incident happened Monday, June 22, at approximately 2:50 p.m. inside CARSTAR Brooklyn Auto Solutions in the Canarsie neighborhood.Investigators say a 60-year-old man was inside the business when two unidentified people came up to him and pointed a gun, demanding he exit his vehicle. The suspects then fled in the victim’s car, heading eastbound on Glenwood Road, police said.
