In search of a good New York bagel in Columbus? A new business with East Coast roots that soft opens July 16 aims to fulfill your craving. Bagels & Jam Co., located at 4465 Cemetery Road in Hilliard, will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Co-owner Sunny Muheisen said in a message to Columbus Monthly that a grand opening will follow in a few weeks.
Muheisen owns the business with her father-in-law, Abdul Jamhour, who has been a pastry chef for over 30 years. She said her mother-in-law, husband and children are also involved, and that Jamhour’s surname inspired the business. “Jamhour is the family last name, so we cut it short into Jam.
