HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Huntsville Police Department says a man has been charged with manslaughter in the death of an 11-year-old.
HPD said that Christopher Todd Wilson, 38, of Huntsville, has been charged with manslaughter after police say the child ingested an illegal drug that belonged to him.

The department said on Wednesday that, around 1 p.m., officers responded to a report of a possible overdose at a residence in the 100 block of High Green Drive. HPD said officers and medical personnel found the child in the home with signs of an overdose.
