‘Love After Lockup’ star arrested while driving with suspended license during 32-year sentence: sheriff

POLK COUNTY, Fla. — A man who appeared on the reality documentary series “Love After Lockup” was arrested in Polk County after he was caught driving with a suspended license on parole, according to authorities.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said Christopher Chipps, 42, spent 10 years in prison on a 32-year sentence before he was paroled in South Dakota.

He drove through Naples on a suspended license, where deputies stopped and arrested him on July 1.

“He needs to be in prison,” Judd said. “He is obviously a slow learner.”…
