RUSKIN, Fla. (WFLA) — Newly released video from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office showed the shootout between two deputies and a gunman in Ruskin Thursday.
Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said the series of events began when Christopher Dmuchowski, 34, held his ex-girlfriend captive at gunpoint Wednesday night. The woman managed to escape Dmuchowski and went to HCSO’s District Four Office to report the incident.
