Wilmington native serves aboard one of the world’s largest warships

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Wilmington native is serving aboard one of the world’s largest and most powerful naval vessels as part of the U.S. Navy’s ongoing mission around the globe.

Petty Officer 2nd Class Daniel Rochefort, a Wilmington native, is assigned as a logistics specialist aboard the USS Harry S. Truman, a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier based out of Norfolk, Virginia.

Rochefort graduated from West Brunswick High School in 2015 and is currently working toward a bachelor’s degree in logistics and supply chain management through American Military University. He plans to graduate in 2027…
