BAYTOWN, Texas – A standoff in Baytown between law enforcement and an armed woman ended with her surrendering and being taken into custody Thursday.
The Baytown Police Department says they were called at approximately 1:15 p.m. to a reported family disturbance in the 400 block of Rollingwood Drive.
Police say 42-year-old Melissa Rodriguez allegedly shot her father in the hand and struck her mother with a pistol during the incident. Both victims were evaluated by EMS at the scene and police say neither required transportation to a hospital…
