Old Highland Park mansion auction bids start $18.5 million below initial asking price

A mansion in Old Highland Park is officially on the auction block. Bids opened at $17 million on July 15 for 3711 Lexington Ave. and will conclude on July 29. Registrations to bid were accepted through July 14. Concierge Auctions is managing the auction alongside agent Ralph Randall with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s, who has been attached to the listing since it first hit the market in March 2025.

The estate in prestigious Highland Park has been one of the priciest listings in all of Texas for more than a year. The home spans more than 20,000 square feet and is currently owned by Dallas tech entrepreneur Larry Lacerte and his wife Joyce Lacerte. The couple moved to Dallas from California in 1990 and landed in Preston Hollow before building the home at 3711 Lexington in 2012…
