Horrendous air quality from northern Minnesota and Ontario wildfires has prompted officials from the largest youth soccer tournament in the western hemisphere to suspend all games on Thursday in Blaine.
The USA Cup, held annually at the National Sports Center, announced Thursday that games have been suspended for the remainder of the day. The decision was made to “preserve the competitive integrity of the tournament and the safety for all.”
