NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Newly obtained security camera video is providing fresh insight into the chaotic July Fourth block party in North Charleston that went viral after police officers were assaulted and gunshots were heard amid fireworks.
The video shows what sounds like gunfire mixed with fireworks during the celebrations. North Charleston police arrived at the scene and were later attacked by multiple individuals, leading to the arrests of four juveniles and two adults.
