COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Sheriff Greg Countryman has released a letter of commendation regarding the heroic acts of several members of the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).
Countryman says Lieutenant Ray Thornton and Squad 3 of the MCSO Jail Bureau are to thank for rescuing hundreds of inmates amid a rapidly growing flame.
