NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – A Newport News mother has been taken into custody and charged following the death of her son.
According to officials, officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Walden Pond Court at 2:19 p.m. Thursday, July 16, in reference to an unresponsive 5-year-old boy.
