HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Former Huntsville police officer Scott Hartman has been found guilty of driving under the influence following a one-day bench trial.
Hartman was arrested in September after a wreck on Church Street. He was fired from the Huntsville Police Department in December.
In February, Hartman appealed his firing to the Huntsville City Council, which denied the appeal. In March, Hartman asked a judge to overturn that decision, with his attorney previously arguing body camera footage would contradict the DUI charge…
