Hartselle City Schools Chief School Financial Officer Bradley Colburn presented the May and June financial reports at the July 14 board meeting, noting both months were on target as the district enters the final quarter of fiscal year 2026.
By June 30, Colburn said the district had reached 76% of projected revenues and 72% of projected expenditures. Local collections totaled $11.3 million, a 5% increase compared with the same time last year.
During the work session, Colburn presented the transportation budget, which includes the purchase of two new buses this year and two next year. Each bus costs approximately $130,000.
