AUSTIN (KXAN) – Floodgate operations are underway along the Highland Lakes chain. Updates regarding the dams can be found below.

- Buchanan Dam at Lake Buchanan: No floodgate operations are expected.
- Inks Dam at Inks Lake: Flow over the spillway is not expected (Inks Dam has no floodgates).
- Wirtz Dam at Lake LBJ: Multiple floodgates are open.
- Starcke Dam at Lake Marble Falls: Multiple floodgates are open.
- Mansfield Dam at Lake Travis: Hydrogeneration to pass floodwaters will begin this afternoon. A single gate will be opened at 6 a.m. Saturday morning, and a second gate will be opened at 1 p.m.
- Tom Miller Dam in Austin: A floodgate will be opened Friday afternoon to pass floodwater downstream.
- Bastrop Dam in Bastrop: No floodgate operations are expected.
