EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Texas Department of Transportation has released a list of road closures for the week of July 17, 2026, that may affect your commute, including the nightly closure of Interstate 10 for the Artcraft steel beam installation, starting on Sunday, July 19.
Artcraft Project
Sunday, July 19 – Thursday, July 23, nightly from 9 p.m. – 6 a.m.
- I-10 east and westbound between Loop 375 (Transmountain) and Artcraft full closure.

- I-10 east and westbound between Transmountain and Artcraft full closure
Crews will be placing steel girders.

FM 258 Safety Improvements

- Socorro Road westbound right and turning lanes closed from Winn Road to Belen Road.
Crews will be installing PMI stripping the island on Belen.

- US-54 north and southbound between Diana and Sun Valley alternate lane closure.
- US-54 North at Diana entrance ramp closed.
- US-54 North at Sun Valley exit ramp closed.
- US-54 South at Sun Valley entrance ramp closed.

- US-54 at Kenworthy Exit 31 complete closure.
- Gateway North between Kenworthy and Sean Haggerty left lane closed.
Crews will be working on signs and delineators.
- Loop 375 (Transmountain) westbound between Tom Mays Park entrance and Paseo Del Norte right lane closed.
Crews will be working on shoulder.
- Spur 601 westbound between Chaffee and US-54 alternate lane closures.
Crew will be doing crack sealing.
