WYANDOTTE COUNTY, Kan. (KCTV) – A Shawnee man suffered serious injuries Thursday after a suspect in a discontinued police pursuit crashed into him while running a red light.
According to a crash report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 66-year-old man from Shawnee was hospitalized with serious injuries following the crash, which happened at 11:39 a.m. on July 16.
The KHP said a 27-year-old suspect from Edgerton, Kansas, Jason W. Sisney, was driving northbound on I-35 after a police pursuit was discontinued.
